Tour to Sacred Valley of the Incas

This is one of the most popular tours beginning in Cusco and touring the grand Sacred Valley of the Incas. This day trip allows you to see what the day to day life of the ancient Incans was like and visit archeological sites that lie in this Andean Valley. 

Early in the morning we will leave from Cusco, the ancient capital of the Incas, and start heading towards the Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be the Taray Overlook where you can take photos of the beautiful landscape the Sacred Valley offers. From here we will continue to the historic site of Pisaq which was once an ancient Incan city. 

Then we will descend deep into the valley to visit the colonial town of Pisaq where we will enjoy a silver jewelry making demonstration. Afterwards we will head to the city of Urubamba to enjoy a buffet of food for lunch. 

After lunch we will go to the historic site of Ollantaytambo, another ancient Incan city. In this town, some people will board a train to head to Aguas Calientes and visit Machu Picchu while the rest of the group continues down the Sacred Valley towards the town of Chinchero. 

This is another historical town where we will enjoy a variety of handmaking demonstrations including how apparel made of alpaca fur is crafted. We will then head back to Cusco.
